They're all taken as there is a shortage of men. Try taking up an interest that woud also include males. Is snow skiing too much fun?  If you get desparate try your local church otherwise its off to the dating agencies. It would also help if you were a bit more open. Keeping up your defenses isn't going to get you very far.
