Where can I find a seating layout for Eurostar (Venice to Florence) train 1st & 2nd class?

I am making a reservation at trenitalia (Venice to Florence) for me and my wife and would like to know if my seat will be in a window location and if I will be next together with the one of my wife. Are the seats x6 and x0 (like 56 and 60) located on windows? Which number I should pick to have one seat on window side?

Thank you!!

  1. You can see the general layouts of the Eurostar cars at: http://www.directline-citybreaks.co.uk/E... However, this is the London to Paris seating plan and the numbering in Italian trains is different.

The Italian train website doesn't have a direct seating plan, but there is a virtual tour of the Eurostar trains where you can use the zoom and pan controls to see seat numbers in the cars at: http://www.trenitalia.com/it/b6507019502...

In first class, there will be one seat by the window on one side of the aisle with numbers x1 & x2 (i.e., 41, 42, 61, 62, ...). These seats face each other except at the ends of the car. Across the aisle, there will be a pair of seats. Numbers x4 & x5 are window seats, while x3 & x6 are on the aisle. I was in a 1st class Eurostar yesterday and seat 52 which was a window on the single seat side of the aisle.

There is a window and an aisle seat on each side of the aisle in 2nd class cars - seats x1, x2, x5, and x6  are window seats.

You don't have to enter specific seat numbers to book a window seat on the Italian train website. Just select window where it says "Please indicate your preferences for the place

    to assign to you." http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

If the Amica fare is available, it is cheaper than standard, but there are a limited number of seats on each train with that fare.
