Where can I find a small traveling chess set?

probably  some where like toys r us or little dollar store i have seen little checkers in barnes and nobles so look around they should have little chess boards too

If you have a mobile phone why not download chess and you can play the computer at different levels.

I would look on eBay there are many and you can get your best deal.  A good Friend gave me a small folding board that holds the magnetic pieces snugly in a felt holder under the board when open and in the middle when closed.  We play while driving on long trips quite often but I would not suggest doing that it can become very dangerous.

I have actually seen them in some of the dollar stores.  You could also try book stores such as Barnes and Noble - they often have things like that.  Best of luck with finding it.

Many stores that sell stuff like keychains and magic cards and such should have it, or you can try Toysrus. Even kids stores should sell it, like the magnetic kind with checkers or another game on the other side
