Do you mean a Switchblade? You can get a switchblade or automatic knife online, or at an army barracks store.

I saw a sword at a Ren Fair that folded,  it was about 2' long

when folded and 4' long opened, it looked like a huge Buck knife.

I don't know. But the only person that I ever knew who talked about a pocket sword was a welshman. My guess is that you are not from the U.S.

I know of an around the belt sword, that folds around your waist. I think its a scam though, just from looking at it.

I also know of a spetsnaz spring loaded knife, but thats a little bit different.
