Where can I find a very affordable student desk?

Question

Okay, I need a desk for this upcoming school year. It will have a keyboard and a moniter, and I also need to be able to do schoolwork on the desk.

So basically, I need a very inexpensive student desk.

Can anyone tell me where I can find one? I don't want to make one myself, and I don't want to go to a thrift store or anything. I don't mind if it's slightly used or refurbished, but I need a good place to find a good desk.

What about weekend garage sales?  If you start early you can find some great buys AND you can negotiate with the sellers for a good price.  People who have garage/yard sales want to get rid of their stuff so they will work with you for a decent price.

Also look at newspaper ads.  IKEA sells good stuff too--I have a house full of their stuff--but for a student desk I'd rather "downscale."

IKEA.  Their stuff is usually pretty durable for the cost.
