Where can I find a weekend cruise from NYC?

I am trying to go on a weekend cruise with four of my girlfriends in month of May. One of my girlfriend is getting married so I wanted to take them for girls weekend getaway. There seems to be no cruise ship that goes for the weekend for month of may and June. Any suggestions?

This is some information that I posted a few days ago answering another related question.  There were weekend cruises from NY city but you are too late for them.  The next bunch will be in the fall, or consider flying or taking the train to Florida where your options go way up.

Yes it's possible but you will have to go when and where the cruise goes and it will likely not be more than 2 or 3 days.

Norwegian cruise line does lots of one-day cruises from New York City later this year and you missed some that were April and May: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruisesearch/c...

Royal Caribbean has a lot of 4-day cruises that are in your price range but they leave out of Ft Lauderdale Florida. :http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis...

There are probably a bunch of other cruises that are 3 to 4 days that leave from Florida. But this is the best I can do on such short notice ...LOL

Maybe you may want to look into cruises out of Port canaveral. There is only one and it leavesfrom there on May 22 and also May 29th as well.

You can fly spirit airlines from ny for 59 each way to MCO (orlando airport) Carnival will shuttle you from the airport or you can fly in the night before and spend the night in Orlando or at a holel on the ocean nearby the ship port.

and a suite runs=739

Right now in May it is normally when most of the ships are down south more where the weather is warmer. Most of the time it's too cold to be outside on the water in May.

You can find them available on Expedia.com go to the cruise section.  There are often  2 night cruises to nowhere from NYC.  Good luck
