Where can I find affordable shipping?

I'm starting an online business and I want to sell bead kits. On other sites I see people charging $3 or $5 for shipping to Canada and the US. Where do they find such low rates and where can I find them?

FedEx, UPS and the USPS all offer business services that will allow for discounted shipping rates if you do a certain amount of business monthly. Check on the company web sites for a partner area or business solutions area and give them a call. Priority Mail from the USPS is still the best deal around for shipping packages under 2lbs.
