Where can I find an ASL class near me?

Question

I live in Florida. Sarasota county but very close to Charlotte county.

I am looking for a place to take an American Sign language class near me.

Check your local community college.

By your description,you must live in North Port, like me.  I am a former teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing actually.  I know that the Jacaranda Library @ 41 and Jacaranda has classes from time to time.  Also you can call the Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and ask them for programs they provide or ones they know of.  Their closest office is in Venice, and I will post the link below.  Sign language is a lot of fun.  Good luck!
