Where can I find an Archeological diggings of the past and of the presents? I haven't found any websites with this info.

  1. If you want one near you, check with your state historic department.  Every state's got one, and they'll have information on sites that are open to the public.


  2. Any archaeological dig is of both the past and the present.  Any information you dig up may be from the past, but you are digging it in the present.  That is to say, you are looking at information in the present, and have to interpret what it was and meant in the past before it's deposition and unknown factors (erosion, trampling, scavaging, etc..) have affected it.

  3. on the history channel...have you see the underworld ones with tunnels under the cities??

  4. Your question is not very clear on what you are looking for.  There are hundreds if not thousands of websites about excavations - both ongoing and ones from the past.  And many more sites that provide links to those.
