I'm living in Paris, but do not have residency. I don't have insurance but I have no problem paying cash. I need a good GP who speaks English. I live in the 16th arrondisement. Can anyone who lives in Paris recommend a doctor to me?

  1. Contact the British or American Consulate, and ask them. In case of emergency, there is the American Hospital not too far (Neuilly-sur-Seine). Or check out the link below. Warn your GP you haven't got insurance: you may get a discount. A regular visit shouldn't cost too much, even without insurance. I've had an emergency home call for around €40.

  2. I agree, you can go the American hospital in Neuilly.

You can also go in a great pharmacy and ask if they know a good GP close to you. All pharmacies have all addresses of doctors in the area, but they are not obliged to know if they speak english of course. Sometimes they know by chance. If they are kind, they will call some GP for you.....
