I would like an affordable alternative to a Pashley Princess (or similar) but with a decent number of gears for climbing hills. Thanks for your help...

  1. Hi try a  coventry eagle, 5 speed from the 70/80s but quality  tubing and lugged frame, they look smart. Might take a little while too find one bit well worth it, best quality ladies i have come across.

  2. Several different companies (Trek, Schwinn, Raleigh, etc)know make different versions of this type of bicycle or what they call comfort bicycles.  You can usually find for $200 to $400 dollars at many bicycle stores.  If that is too much try pawn shops which frequently have used bicycles for less than $100 dollars.  One store that is also online that ussually has agood selection of bicycles of various types and price ranges is Performance Bicycles.

  3. Giant UK has several
