Where can I find an electric violin bridge?

Question

I am hoping to make an electric violin I know where to get everything, except the bridge. I do not want one that goes around the violin, I want one that I can make go through it and then have a standard input jack plug into it.

Do an ebay search for violin pick up and you will find all types.

i didn't do the search today, but have many times and have built a decent electric using a bridge pickup.

Hi

A violin bridge sits on the body of the violin and doesn't go around it in any way. You can't do that. The bridge has a built-in pick-up and you can wire it through the sides just like an electric guitar. Takes patience but can be done.
