However, you can buy a plug that will s***w into a light socket that you can plug an extension cord into.

Most hardware stores will have them.

No need to make it.  You can buy a gadget that screws into a bulb socket, and has what amounts to a single receptacle.  You can plug any two-prong plug into it.  It looks at first like an old fashioned s***w-in fuse.

They make one. It is called a "Lead light" and used by auto mechanics. Plugs into the wall outlet and has a lightbulb connection on the other end. You could also buy just the connector with a two prong plug and a bulb receptacle all in one. These can be found in hardware stores or Home Centers such as Lowes or HD.

make  one  ,get  one  from  the  end  of  an  extension  ,one  from  a  bulb  holder  make  sure  you  connect  it  really  good  with  electrical  tape  .......I  would ,....... or  just  go  to  home  depot or  hardware store  and  ask  for  it.....
