I just want a little round one but the cheapest one at Ikea (that's not a plain wood square) is over $200. Are there any cool used furniture places here?

  1. Try this site it always has tons of great stuff.

    http://www.usedvancouver.com

  2. http://vancouver.craigslist.org/fur/inde...

  3. Forget the Sally Army - from my experience at my local one you'll probably find it cheaper at Zellers.

I saw a flyer for a retailer like Ikea - also from Sweden - I think they are in Burnaby, the prices were good. There name is something like 'Joust'!?

A tip if you really have no cash - check out local newspapers - my one has a section called 'Recycler' where people give away items for free!! You can get some really good stuff but you have to get the paper early and call them quick!

    Good luck!

  4. There's a bunch of smaller furniture stores near Ikea in Richmond, they might be worth checking out. You could also try Value Village on Victoria St., I know they have a furniture section. You could also look on http://vancouver.craigslist.com .. This is a big clasifieds site, somebody might be selling what you're looking for.

I cant really think of anywhere else, but I'm sure there's lots of other thrift shops and second hand stores that might have stuff.. Good luck!
