I have T-Mobile right now, but I saw a bunch of phones that Verizon has that I want. I'm not going to switch carriers, but I hear you can unlock phones to adapt to anything with just the Sim card. Where can I purchase unlocked Verizon phones and how do I use it once I purchase it?

  1. what? u make no sence. U have to switch companies if u are gonna get a verizon phone

  2. Verizon uses CDMA technology; T-Mobile uses GSM technology (the kind that uses SIM cards); the two are definitely not compatible, so Verizon-branded phones CANNOT be used on T-Mobile at all (or on any other GSM network like AT&T).  Verizon phones cannot accept a SIM card, so they cannot be placed on the T-Mobile network.

  3. Verizon cell phones cannot be unlocked.

  4. You can buy unlocked cell phones on eBay. I bought my unlocked BlackBerry Curve on eBay and all you have to do is put your sim card into it and turn it on.

Unlocked phones adapt to anything. All you have to do is make sure you have the right network set up on it. It's simple.
