Information could be found in several different fields of study, depending upon the nature of your research and whether or not you are interested in just healthy systems (anatomy and physiology) or those effected by diseases and/or vasospastic disorders (angiology).

A great deal of information has been gathered by Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and other scanning techniques.
