I am visiting London England in a few weeks and have had trouble finding nice but cheap afternoon tea places? Any suggestions or web site links would be helpful!

  1. Dont know of a cheap one, just make sure you to avoid Fortnum&Mason in Piccadilly.I thought that I had paid for accomodation as well.Smile at an elderley lady ,most of them will offer you a cup of tea in their house, for nothing.

  2. http://www.teaandcoffeemuseum.co.uk/ has a small cafe that is supposed to be good.

I also had a cream tea at the cafe inside the Tower of London that was ok.  Affordable and decent, but nothing like what you'd get out in the countryside.

http://www.hopeandgreenwood.co.uk/ doesn't serve tea but is also worth a visit - was the highlight of my recent trip, food-wise.  : )

  3. The Orangery at Kensington Palace has a wonderful afternoon tea that's really affordable.
