Where can I find cheap tickets for Disney World or Sea World?

There's 3 children, all 10 and under, so I think Magic Kingdom or Sea World would be the best for them to go to. Where can I get cheap tickets (not $70+)?

  1. Disney does not discount tickets.  The only way to reduce a per day price is to buy a multi-day pass of longer than 4 days...  You can get a no expiration option so that unused days last forever, but you still have to pay out up front.

Some local businesses will offer small discounts to bring in business, but they are doing this themselves and either using them as a loss leader, or just not keeping their sales commission.

  2. Sea World has some discounts (Fun Card for rest of 2008 at price of 1 day ticket, 2nd visit free, military, AAA, AARP, FL teachers, FL residents, etc.)  The link is below.

Disney offers discounted rates to FL residents or military.  Otherwise check into a timeshare presentation, but be prepared to sacrifice 2-3 hours for 1 day, 1 park passes that can't be upgraded.  They'll probably have activities to keep the kids busy, but it might not be worth your time.  There are wholesalers already mentioned, too.  The best way to get the price down is to buy multiple days, as the price per day drops the more days you buy.

  3. Please be very careful when buying Disney tickets.  Disney is very careful about control the price of the tickets and only has a few authorized brokers.  If you find a very deep discount, there is a good chance that the tickets are no good.

I have used and recommend these two online brokers.  Both are authorized by Disney and both will save you a bit on your tickets.

  4. disney does not discount tickets.

seaworld offers online purchases for adult tickets at child prices. (child is 3-9) plus if you buy online you can get a 2nd day free, and other benefits.

    1 day ticket (1park only) for a child (3-9) is $63.

    adult (10+) is $75

  5. You can get really great discount tickets for Disney World at Orlando Fun Tickets http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/

    Have fun!

  6. Well for them the tickets are less than 70 bucks anyways.  Go to www.Orlandofuntickets.com

  7. None to be had unless you do a timeshare promotion which might be a stretch with kids in tow

  8. Disney just upped their price on one day tickets to $75.00.  If you are going for 1 day, you are not going to get around that.  Sea World is much less expensive, but probably not nearly as appealing to small kids.  Don't get me wrong, we love Sea World, but if we went to Orlando and went to Sea World and not Disney my kids would be sorely disappointed.

They really want you to go for several days.  If you purchase a 6 day ticket then you're only paying about $40/day for adults and $32.00/day for kids if you purchase from one of the Disney authorized retailers who offer some small discounts.

If you don't think you'll use that many days but will make another trip to Disney someday you can purchase the "Never Expires" option on the tickets and use them later.  We usually do this since we don't always know exactly how many days we will go to the parks, but don't want to lose days, either.  Having the tickets already paid for before our next trip is really nice and you don't have to worry about the annual price increases!  Not to mention, your kids who are under 10 now can purchase child passes that automatically upgrade to adult passes if they over 9 when you return next time!

Hope that helps rather than confuses the issue.
