on line, and which I can use with my Microsoft Flight Sim?

In particular i am looking handbooks for Boeing 747 and the triple 777. I just love flying those huge birds!

Maybe something in pdf format or other downloadable versions.

And yeah it must be free for all....;)

  1. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those are not public domain.  Each carrier develops their own flight manual to combine manufacturer information and company standards.  Carriers spend millions of dollars developing these manuals for internal company use.  They contain company procedures and aircraft information that are not meant to be public for security and economic reasons.

There are "virtual flight manuals" out there that have generic information about the planes for flight sim enthusiasts.  They don't even begin to touch the amount of information contained in their real world counterparts, but those are probably your best bet.  People have set up virtual airlines, complete with manuals to be played out in simworld.  I don't play the sims, so I can't be much help regarding the details, but I think that's the best place to start.

  2. FAA.com

  3. try the boeing website

  4. If you cannot find what you want with Google, most payware add-on aircraft come with moderately complete (sometimes very complete) documentation, and often it is directly derived from the real thing.

Real handbooks are hard to find because they are copyrighted material and manufacturers like to charge high prices for them.  They don't contain anything top secret or anything, it's just that companies don't want to give them away for free.

  5. Try posting the question in the area flight sims questions might get better exposure. Maybe the 'Games' section.

    Just a thought
