Where can I find copper in my house?

I have never seen copper up close, i think ... is it like a door-nob or something!

check the pipes out near your hot water system..

There should be a lot of copper wires in your electrical installation and sometimes they use copper pipes for plumbing. You can just lift off the cover for the distribution board when the power is off and replace it before switching on again.
