Where can I get a crochet or knitting pattern online for these style hats:

Those hats are called berets.

There is a great knitting/crochet community website called Ravelry (http://www.ravelry.com ) that has an amazing pattern search for both free and bought patterns. You can narrow your search down to whatever specifics you want, like yarn size, needle size, free/bought, etc. The only problem is that you have to sign up and wait a couple days to be 'invited' because Ravelry is in beta testing. But I definitely suggest you sign up because it's totally worth it.

You can also do a google/yahoo search with "free beret knitting pattern" and you'll get a bunch of results.
