  3. Well, to start with, you'd have to move to Alaska.  I believe there's a length of residency requirement, but then you'd start getting your dividend check.

    It wasn't just proposed it happened. She got the money by taxing the oil companies since they got win fall profits of higher prices.

  7. Scapegoatz,  she did not tax oil companies.  In Alaska, the profits from all natural resources belong to the residences of Alaska.  She's just distributing some of the surplus that was directed toward the government.  The surplus occurred because of the increased price of oil.

    Why must every economic stimulus be funded by taxes?
