Where can I find good quality USED textbooks?

I have read SO many books on "how to survive college" and I know I read about this one website in particular that has great USED text books for amazing prices.

But I can't remember the name!

Anyone know of any good websites.

AND PLEASE DON'T tell me to "just google it"

Don't get stuck on finding a used book.  Try to find the book with the best price.  In some cases it may be used but you may surprise yourself and find a new one that is just as cheap.  Some sites offer and up front buy back that pays you cash at the end of the semester.

The first task is to determine what books you need.  You can do this by collecting the ISBN (a 10 or 13 digit number that represents the books)  Once you have these you can shop a free price comparison site such as http://www.CampusBooks.com.  Enter your ISBN's into the search and they will show you who is selling the book and for how much.

So how do you know if the quality is good?  Read the seller comments.  That is where the seller has to disclose anything about the book.  If they don't disclose it within the seller comments and you get a book in bad quality you can try to return it (will depend on the return policy)

If you are concerned about quality you may need to pay a bit more but you can buy from a retailer who sell only books they have in stock.  This would include Textbooks.com. BunchesofBooks.com, and TextbooksNow.com

Many other retailers run a marketplace where anyone can sell books using their system.

I know it can be difficult but the effort of time and reap a strong reward.
