depending where you are, you can try classics which is on the horsley drive at wetherill park. they have a range of bridesmaids/formal wear. there is also a brides dress shop upstairs you can have a look at as well.

depends on what price range you are looking for but Queen Victoria Building has several good stores which have stunning bridesmaid dresses. You may also want to try Paddington or Broadway.

There are lots of places with different qualities.  I am told that the Dymocks Building in George Street has a few good ones the popular ones being Brides of Sydney and Abby Bridal.
