I'm moving into a new apartment and would like to pull together a light Japanese theme around mostly contemporary styles. I've looked around online and can't find anything which might provide what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for this type of home decoration?

  1. check on Ebay- they have tons of stuff.

  2. Almost any store you walk into has this on the west coast so I'm surprised you aren't finding anything.

  3. You are going to want to look for dark wood furniture, and stream line, clean lines in the furniture. Ikea.com sells things like this, for people who need to stick to a budget. I have a Japanese style bed it has clean lines and close to the floor. Hope that helps!

  4. Much of the decor from the Arts & Crafts themes have a Japanese style.  It's a straight line design with no frills.  The wood is often cherry or teak.  It's quite beautiful in its simplicity.

    Good luck!

  5. There are a good style of decoration but not in Japanese style.

May be these can help you somehow.
