Where can I find inexpensive cupcakes?

I'm hosting a couple's bridal shower for 50-70 people in a few months and am looking for an inexpensive place to buy cupcakes. They'll need to have chocolate frosting or purple frosting, and then the reverse for decorations (a simple wafer candy or whatever...). Any suggestions on where to get these?

Walmart Or Giant 12  small  cupcakes for 1.75 or big for 3.00 12 cupcakes

Do you have anyone that can help you whip some up? That would be the cheapest route and would not take long if one other person could help you. If not, Wal-Mart. :)

Sam's Club has the best prices and the best cupcakes. I used to buy for my students (about a 100 or so) and it was always less than $100 and they looked great!
