Where can I find info on Police Acquisition Sales?

I'm not sure if that's the right name for it, but I'm trying to buy a car and was thinking about going to one. I've heard you can get a good price on them.

So, where/how can I find info on local occurrences?

1. They run ads in local newspapers

2. Acess the Police Department website

3. Call up the Police Department and ask when they hold their sales. Usually several times a year.

4. Check out the car before you submit a bid. Bring a mechanic friend with you, if possible. Some of the cars may have llived hard, died hard!
