Where can I find info. on employees of the city of Dundalk Ireland?

Doing some Geneology and going to Ireland in March. Where can I find info. on an ancestor who was police superintendent in Dundalk?

Not sure if the Gardai (that's the name for the police force in Ireland) would divulge details of serving or former officers. My own suggestion would be to email the local paper - the Dundalk Argus. They will often publish enquires such as yours and, in Irish towns, everybody knows everybody. Maybe even somebody who works at the paper will know something about your ancestor.
