Where can I find information on Alaska?

Sounds like a stupid question but not. What I want to know is how do I look up information on how weather and living conditions where last year in Anchorage? I am planning on moving either this year or next year. But I want to know what I am getting into. Please help.

Google Anchorage Alaska - you will probably see a Wikipedia site, along with the general tourist info sight.

Another place to look would be the Farmers Almanac - they have weather history for many cities.

Google it.  Type in: Anchorage Alaska population.  It will pull up sites that will give you all types of statistical information like weather.  I do it all the time.

well... you can Google "2007 weather Anchorage" or any other subject concerning Anchorage. You can also go to the bookstore and get a Fodors or Frommers travel book on Alaska. You can find out ANYTHING online or in books!
