Where can I find information on births for the last 15 years.?

Is there a website where I can search children that were born in the last 15 years? Is that public information? Can I call the birth records department and ask for the information recorded on a birth certificate if I am not a relative? This is in PA if that matters.

Birth records are NOT always private records.  

State or local law determines the confidentiality of the records, and it's not always confidential.

You can also check the birth announcements section of the local paper.

If you are not a relative.. no.. it is not public information.

I work in a vital records office and birth records are closed to the public. The only person that can look at or get information from a birth record is the person themselves, mother, father, grandparent or sibling. You have to fill out an application with information on it that only a family member would know , so I think you are out of luck.
