  1. http://www.ntra.com/stats_bios.aspx

The NTRA site lists stats and basic info on all current race horses.

  2. The pedigree query website is excellent, I use it almost daily through my work, but if you are looking for horses in Europe the Racing Post site is the best.

Just type the horse's name in the search box and hit go.  You will be shown the horse's pedigree, breeder, current owner and current trainer, along with it's entire race record, race-by-race.

  3. Here's another way, go to this link... type in the name of the horse you are interested in. What will come up is the horses pedigree, next to the name is an I in small case letters, click on the I and info will come up... ownership, racing stats. If there is a little horse there next to the I there is a picture of the horse available also.

When you click on that link Secretariat will come up. You will see the symbols I am talking about. It also gives you the DP and DI.

    Enjoy!I LOVE this site!

  4. If the horse is currently racing and you for sure have the exact name you can find info - as mentioned - in the US. When the horse is entered it will give you the breeder, trainer, owner.

However the Jockey Club will not tell you the owner of a horse - so if the horse isn't racing or is retired it's much more difficult. They'll tell you if a mare has had a foal but no other details...privacy issues.
