I am looking for more jackets like this for my toddler. What are they called? I thought they were just pea coats, but am having a hard time. They are also longer than pea coats. This one isn't in my childs size. http://www.bestdressedchild.com/kamagidrrure1.html

  1. Ross, Marshall's, or Burlington Coat Factory.

  2. Nope, it's not a pea coat, I would call it a dress coat.  It's designed to go over a dress to protect it on the way to where ever you're going but still be fancy enough to be appropriate to where ever you'd be wearing the really nice dress.

Of course they are very convienent for little kids.  I bought one similar last fall for my friends daughter at The Children's Place.

  3. The thrift store

  4. e-bay

i have that jacket in my little girls closet with a beautiful dress to match

  5. try this website they have something similar

  6. If you can't find it on ebay, try JCPenney or Burlington Coat Factory. It's not a pea coat, just a dress coat as far as I know. Many are wool, might help to search wool coats.

  7. I'm pretty sure these are called are dress coats, as they are meant to go over a dress.  Gymboree had one very similar to the one you have pictured  years back, I think it was from their "Christmas Cheer" line, and I have seen oodles of them on eBay, but I don't know how small they came.

I hope the three following links help you find what you're searching for!  : )
