Where can I find lavender ice cream in New York City?

Well my friend is trying so hard to find this ice cream for his girlfriends birthday so i'm trying to help him out. Is there a restaurant or ice cream parlor that makes this flavor?

Do you mean, "lavender" as in the flavor or "lavender" as the color??

I don't think you're going to find lavender flavor, but you easily make lavender icecream by buying some plain vanilla (Hagen Daaz vanilla works best) and put food coloring in it (equal parts red and equal parts blue) until you get the desired color.  Because lavender is a pastel color, it shouldn't take very much food coloring.  

If he doesn't want to do that, you can find blueberry flavored icecream and it usually has a lavender-like hue.
