Where can I find my grandma's obituary on the Internet? (Details Below)?

So I can't remember the exact date my grandma died..i just remembered it being in 1994..i cant find anything about that anywhere on the Internet..am i able to eventually find her old obituary somewhere? Can someone help me out with this? Thanx.

  1. You would have to search the local newspaper archives in the town where she died.  You need her name, of course and the approximate date.


  2. Try your local public library.

  3. start by doing a search in the county where she passed.  type it into google as the county she passed away in, then add "death records"...  ex: Travis County Death Records

    also, www.ancestry.com helped me.  you build your "tree" and names and it matches you with similar names and you either accept or decline the results and it's really good for that, cause I found two of my aunts that passed away when they were just babies, but it gives you all sorts of info!
