Where can I find my medical group number in my insurance card

just give me a hint. like how long it is and how many letters or is it all digits. something like that

  2. It is probably in the corner of your card or on the back.  (And I don't think that all BCBS plans are removing the group number from the card. I work for a BCBS plan and I have never heard this before). I also can't imagine how it would not be on the card. Care providers need the group number to properly file a claim.  

    The length of the group number can vary and can contain numbers or letters depending on who your insurance company is. If you can not locate the group number, I would recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your card.  They will know right where it is. :-)

  3. Some insurances list it on the front of the card under "group number", some companies don't put it on the card at all. Some companies use all numbers, some companies use a combination of letters and numbers. BCBS is in the process of changing their cards - they will no longer have the group number on the card. The member will need to call the customer service number on their card to find out their group number.
