Where can I find my own manager( enteirtainment world)?

Question

I am an actress/singer/model. I have a really high potential but I am desperatly in need of a manager who will find me jobs etc in Uk. any ideas of who i can contact about them being my personal manager?

Based on your question, you need to find a talent AGENT who will be responsible for locating and finding auditions and "work" for you.  Try a basic Google search for Talent Agents/Agencies in the UK (e.g., Hamilton Hodell) and then go from there.  

In regards to finding a talent/personal MANAGER:  Some actors choose to be their own managers, but I would recommend that you do another Google search for Talent/Personal Managers.  Your talent/personal manager will primarily serve as your chief of staff (to your publicist, personal assistant, business manager) and one of your principal advisors during your career.

The main reference book for actors is 'Contacts: Stage, Television, Film and Radio'. In there you will find comprehensive information about agents and all sorts of acting related contacts.

Before you go looking try to work out what sort of acting/singing/modelling you want to do. I doubt any agent will cover all three effectively. Some agents specialise in soaps, some in film work for tele, some in corporate work. Try to find out the sorts of work their clients get and what the commission is. If possible talk to some clients.
