Where can I find obituaries for Georgia in June, 2006?

I've tried looking on the funeral home website but it only goes back to 2007. Is there a website with obituaries? To be more specific it's for Bainbridge, Georgia.

You can try these, but don't get your hopes up.

You can send a SASE, name, exact date and a small donation to the library there. In my experience they will either look it up for you in the microfilm or return your check.

Ancestry has some, but it is a subscription data base.

Online obit archives are relatively new and are dependant on submissions, so they tend to have only recent obits.

You can look the person up on the Social Security Death Index, if the had a social security number, and find out their death date and sometimes where the death benefits were sent or their residence at death.  You can then look up the obits for the days following their death. If you cannot go to the library where the old newspapers would likely be, then you can call someone in the area to look it up for you, possibly from the local genealogical society and for a SMALL fee they can look up the obit.
