Where can I find other rollercoaster fans to meet up?

Question

Does anyone know of any message board or place where I can see other roller coaster fans want to meet up and got to Magic Mtn or Knotts?(I'm in CA) Any suggestions would be great!

There are lot of coaster enthusiast/fan sites out there. There is the rec.roller-coaster newsgroup. There are various unofficial (not produced by the park) fan sites out there, many of which have discussion forums. I don't know of nay for CA, but I have found all of the forums I subscribe to by surfing, and later on, meeting people.

There are also clubs for rollercoaster crazies. The largest is the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE). There are smaller regional organizations out there as well. ACE holds regional and national events, many of which include exclusive ride times (ERT) before and after the park is open. For me, there is nothing in this world I would rather be doing than ERT. I will list a few websites, but  be sure to visit their link sections and get surfing! I will warn you though, many hours could pass without your being aware of it! :) I will include a few regional ones  from my area as well, as I am from Texas.
