Where can I find out exactly what foods are restricted when I cross to fish in Canada for 1wk.?

Having travelled to Canada several times, we find that there are always certain foods that are restricted when we cross the border, sometimes potatos, somtimes onions, sometimes nothing. I can't find a website that gives up to date specific information. Leaving this week. June 20/08 Thanks

    Yes things do change at the border, but that has to do with events in other countries, like avian flu or salmonella in California's crops of tomatoes, for example.

    Read and observe the rules, and have a nice trip to Canada.

  3. I usually call customs a day or two before I plan on crossing, get the scoop from the horses mouth so to speak and you can ask questions as you are talking to a real person.  Well worth the call since it changes daily,.
