Where can I find out who owns a house if there is a living estate and deed?

I've checked out some web sites having to do with deeds, but they all ask for credit card if you want to know the information. Please help A.S.A.P.

your county apraisers office on the web...plug in the address and owner will come up sometimes with arial veiw...and from there a little more digging around you'll find  a link to the deed option
