Where can I find parts for my Wards Seaking 7hp outboard?

The model no. is J7001106c/ Serial no. 369396/ type no.xtv27007b. Also need to know the year it was built. I think it was made in the 1950's possibly earlier

I believe your motor was sold thru wards but manufactured by Chrysler. You can go to this link and find out all you want to know.

There are sites online that have the answer. West Marine probably has the information.

Ours was built by Thor(1949). I do not think Chrysler got into outboards until the 70's. Gale and Scot Atwater were also used by Sears. They were built by Mercury at some point.
