  1. Search yahoo images with the name of the shape

  2. There are a lot of online sites that have some great printable teaching aids on them.  If you don't want to filter through those, I think even Walmart has flash cards and things like that for kids, with shapes, numbers, letters, etc.  If all else fails, pull out some posterboard and markers and make them yourself.  Good luck!

  3. on a website.  Try BBC schools

  4. Download the software for smartboard and create it yourself or use one of theirs.  You do not need a smartboard to use them.  You can do them on the computer.

  5. I did this for my daughter (I am not a teacher!) but used Word graphics!   I put the shape in and then wrote what it was underneath.   I made them really large, so they filled up the whole of an A4 page.

    parallelogram

    triangle

    square

    rectangle

    circle

    oval

    pentagon

    octagon

    hexagon

    trapezoid

    diamond

    cube

These are all in word (autoshapes bit)

You can also look up shapes on the images bit of your search engine.   If you want more shapes, try wiki below:

    Have fun!

  6. Draw the shapes and write the names on them. Another option is to hit the teacher supply store

  7. Try: www.primaryresources.co.uk. It's very useful.
