Where can I find postcards?

I live in DC and cannot find postcards. Maybe because I tend to avoid touristy areas, but anyplace where I can pickup a cheap postcard to send to the grandparents and not spend more than a couple bucks? Post office maybe, but I never see them there?

Gas Stations usually have an area for tourist souvenirs. They shouldn't even cost a couple bucks. I just got back from vacation and had bought 2 postcards for 30 cents each.

Use your extra 4x6 picture prints. Use a waterproof, smear resistant ink pen to write on the back. I usually spray a light coat of satin varnish or fixative on the back, place stamp top right corner and mail.

If you make sure the pen is smear, water resistant you don't need to spray it. But, an inexpensive spray can of varnish goes a long way.
