Where can I find rabbits for sale?

Question

I was thinking PetCo, but I saw on the internet that they aren't selling rabbits there any more... can anyone shed some light on that "No bunnies at PetCo" situation? I'm also looking for smaller breeds of Rabbit...mini rex maybe?

depends on where u live. You can always search on the internet for rabbit breeders. going to a bunny rescue group is good too.

Try to find a local breeder.  Look in the newspaper or "pennysaver" type mailings.  Mini rex are Awesome rabbits to start with.  Quite possibly the best pet.  Very personable and of course the fur is great.

If you are wanting a pet only, I would first check with local shelters and.or rabbit rescues. If there are known available in your area, I would then recommend going to a reputable breeder.

try your local shelter,  they are full of dumped bunnies.

try a petstore, or sometimes shelters have rabbits.

Mini Rex are a wonderful, friendly breed with the softest fur!

All show breeders have babies that have been handled from a young age and that would make great pets.  Try emailing or calling someone local to you from the list and I am sure you will get some great assistance.  I've found rabbit people to be some of the nicest out there.

you shouldn't buy them at petco you should go to oodle.com or to an animal shelter. so you should think a bout this.
