Where can I find rock climbing clubs in Ohio? (not indoor)

I want to get into rock climbing and get into a group or club. I've searched online, but everything I'm finding is for indoor climbing gyms and that's just not my thing.

Typically climbing clubs are localized to a certain area. For instance in KS, there is one in KC and Topeka, and posibly Witchita.

Knowing where you are would help. However, since you didnt provide that info, here is what I would suggest:

Contact local universities with climbing clubs.

Some allow non-students to join though there are restrictions. Also, they usually know if there are any non-affiliated clubs in the area with which they have ties and can point you in their direction.

Or, despite your reservations, climb at a couple indoor gyms and talk up the locals. These people along with the employees of the establishment will know if there are any clubs and how to get in contact.
