You need to look for restaurants that serve "Escargot", not snails...lol... But One great place to eat is Frenchie's Iltalian Cuisine,  1041 Nasa Rd 1, Houston, TX

Another good choice is Bistro le Cep,  11112 Westheimer at Wilcrest, Houston, Tx

both of these serve EXCELLENT escargot.

A seafood store or a french restaurant (escargot).  The snails you see on walls are not the same as the type you eat.   In New England, most places serve snail salad and anywhere in an Italian restaurant when you see Scungilli, that is snail!  Very common in Rhode Island
