Question:

Where can I find snug/anti-tragus jewelry?

I have a snug and anti-tragus. Both have been done for about 3 years and I want to change it out from the silver curve that I now have (that they pierced it with). Where can I find jewelry with perhaps a little color or flair to them? Do I need to go to the piercer to change it out, or is it something I can manage at home?

  1. You can but the jewerly at any piercing shop. Most shops will change it for free if you buy there ear ring there. I actually have both of those piercings as well... I haven't changed either yet though so I'm not sure if you could do it yourself. I don't think could. its really hard to change stuff like that when you can't really see what you are doing. you may be able to have a friend change it for you...

  2. You can buy that jewelry just about anywhere, online or at the piercer. It should just be small curved barbells. For color, try titanium. There's probably not going to be much flair other than color available in such small jewelry. But it would be best to have your piercer tell you what gauge and length to get, or just to buy it from them. There's plenty available in 16 ga. Hoepfully they're not smaller than that. As far as changing the jewelry, I'd go to the piercer. Especially if you buy the jewelry there, they shouldn't charge much if anything. I have no problems changing most of my jewelry myself. I can even go from a captive bead to a circular barbell in my helix by myself, though it's challenging. But it's very hard to hold those tiny balls and get the threads lined up, and if I have anyone with small enough fingers available, I always take help on ear jewelry! In fact, I am 100% incapable of putting the beads on the curved barbell i have for my rook. I can snap the bead in the captive ring, but I cannot do the barbell at all on that one.

  3. Ebay do coloured curled barbells. :) If you can get the ball off you can do it yourself. If not, get a bit of help from a piercer.
