Where can I find software for a Sony Minicam?

I bought a Sony mini-cam from Best Buy that was on display as is. So it didn’t come with anything. I would like to edit the video that I’ve recorded but don't know how.

What's the model number of your camcorder?  How you capture and edit your video differs depending on what sort of camcorder you've got.

OK, you've got a mini-DVD camcorder.  Unfortunately, that means that you can't use Windows Movie Maker without converting the video into a different format.  It's easy enough to do, but the quality will suffer.  You can rip the mini-DVD to your PC with DVDDecrypter and then convert the video (.vob files) to WMV with Super.  If the quality's not good enough, the cheapest video editor I know that can handle DVDs is AVS Video Editor
