  1. Fortnum And Masons on Piccadilly.

Fresh And Wild in Parkway, Camden Town or on Brewer Street, Soho.

The Rosslyn Hill Delicatessen in Hampstead, on Rosslyn Hill.

Giacobazzis Delicatessen in Hampstead, on Fleet Road (opposite Royal Free Hospital).

  2. I would suggest

    Norf

    or

    sentral

    LONDON

  3. You shouldn't have too much trouble!

But by golly. i bet you don't find a British one, selling English

    cuisine!

  4. Villandry in Marylebone (Great Portland Street) is fairly good.  For cheese try La Fromagerie in Highbury Park N1 (branch in 2 Moxon Street W1) or Neals Yard Dairy in Covent Garden, or Paxton & Whitfield in Jermyn Street Piccadilly.

Though not very central, Mortimor & Bennett in Chiswick (Turnham Green Terrace) is excellent.  In general, the food halls at Harrods and Harvey Nichols have some very nice things, as does Fortnum and Mason. For example you can get the best ham in the world, Jabugo ham from Iberia, at Harrods.
