Where can I find some great information on Mount Jessop in Ireland?

Question

I recently found out that it was named after my family and I was wondering how I would go about finding why, who, and when it was named. (I live in the U.S. now.)

All I know is that it is some sort of bog and it is a protected area I believe. Does anyone know where I may be able to find out more? Thank you!
